Mrs. Mitchell, 53, died Monday, December 19, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Debbie was born February 1, 1958 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of John Dennis Lattion and Clarice L. Collins Lattion. She moved to Artesia most recently last month. Prior to that she was a resident of Ardmore, Oklahoma for the last 20 Years.

In August of 1973 she was married to Rickey Tetts in Carlsbad, N.M. They had gotten a divorce and he preceded her in death November 18, 2010. She later married Chesley Mitchell on July 26, 1994 in Ardmore, Texas. He preceded her in death in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters Margaret Reidhead, and Bertha Clark.

Debbie was a homemaker and a was of the Baptist denomination. She loved her animals and beading.

Survivors include her son Rickey Tetts of Artesia brothers Roger Petrey of Hobbs, N.M., and Oscar Lattion of Kermit, Texas sisters Cora Tidwell of Winnie, Texas, Mony Fuller of Artesia, Leota Burch of Artesia,and Becky Sternadel of Lake Ivy, Texas numerous nieces, nephews, great and greatgreat nieces.
