David Zamarron

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 8th at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for David Zamarron of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Zamarron, 63, died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Artesia General Hospital.

Fr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arturo Federico, Daniel Gallegos, Robert Federico, Miguel Zamarron, Manuel Zamarron, Ismael Zamarron.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Thursday beginning at 1:30 p.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace at 6:30 p.m.

David was born December 29, 1947 in Sauceda de la Borda, Zacatecas, Mexico the son of Trinidad Zamarron and Manuela Jaramillo Zamarron. He came to Artesia in June of 1977.

On November 17, 1975 he was married to Alicia Federico in El Paso, Texas.

David worked as a masonery worker and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He loved music, and taking care of his grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by two sisters Irene Zamarron, Estella Pavia, and a baby brother.

Survivors include his wife Alicia Zamarron of the family home children Rafael I. Zamarron and wife Erica of Artesia, Maria E. Zamarron Armstrong and husband Leo of El Paso, Jose A. Zamarron of Artesia, and Lucia I. Zamarron Gutierrez and husband Valentin of Artesia brothers Benito Jaramillo, Miguel, Juan, Manuel, Jose, Luis, and Ismael Zamarron sisters Basilia Zamarron de Fierro, Ofelia and Sylvia Zamarron, and Teresa Romo grandchildren Isaac, Cielo, Estrella, and Emilio Gutierrez, Xavier and Jazmine Armstrong, Landen and Akaylia Zamarron and his parents Trinidad and Manuela Zamarron of El Paso.
