David Ochoa

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Monday, December 4, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for David N. Ochoa of Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Ochoa, 42, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Artesia General Hospital. PFr. Paul Murtagh SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Todd Madrid, Ricky Kimble, Tino Hernandez, Tony Morales, Eli Balencia, and Ruben Franco. Honorary pallbearers will be Eddie Guzman, Fermin Burgess, Manuel Lara, and his nephews. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A prayer vigil will be Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Grace. PMr. Ochoa was born May 14, 1964 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Julian Ochoa and Delfina Navarette Ochoa. PHe was married to Hope Huerta. PHe was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He worked as a construction worker and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. PDavid was preceded in death by his grandparents; a brother Efrian Ochoa; and a nephew Joel Ochoa Jr.
Survivors include his wife Hope Huerta; parents Julian Ochoa and wife Delfina of Artesia; son Gabriel of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters Cassandra and Blanca both of Albuquerque; step-children Lindsey and Nathan of Artesia; brothers Lu
ico Ochoa and wife Vivian of Artesia, Julian Ochoa Jr. and wife Ellen of Artesia, Ruben Ochoa and wife Olga of Artesia, Guadalupe Ochoa of Artesia, Hector Ochoa of Artesia, Joel Ochoa Sr. of Artesia, and Alfredo Ochoa of Albuquerque; sisters Mary Montes and husband Abelardo of Artesia, and Ofelia Perez and husband Henry of Artesia; numerous nieces and nephews.
