David Malkowski

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, at Terpening Son Chapel for David G. Malkowski of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Malkowski, 54, died Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Thorton Medical Center in La Jolla, California. Pastor Terry Aiello will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place in California. Mr. Malkowski was born April 27, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; the son of Roland Peter Malkowski and Caroline Edna Buhk Malkowski. On June 28, 1975 he was married to Nancy Thiermann in Albuquerque, N.M. He came to Artesia in April of 1981 from Roswell, N.M. David worked as a marketing manager. He was a former member of the Artesia Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He loved all animals. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his wife Nancy Malkowski of the family home; sisters Diane Krienitz and husband Donald of Sun City West, Arizona, and Karen Kosel and husband Terry of Imperial Beach, California; and his father Roland P.
