David Longoria

Services are scheduled for 10 am Tuesday, October 5, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for David M. Longoria Jr. of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Longoria, 55, died on September 24, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Longoria, Brian Ochoa, Carlos Longoria, Gabriel Longoria Jr., David Longoria, Gabriel Longoria, Danny Longoria and Lino Arrendondo. Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Grado, Ezekiel Cano Jr., Ervey Cano, Ervey Ray Cano, Jacob Cano, and Daniel Montoya. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 1-6 pm on Monday.

David was born on May 2, 1966 in Lamesa, Texas; the son of David Longoria Sr, and Gloria Martinez Longoria. He was a long time resident of Artesia.

He was an operator in the oil field. He was an avid Cowboys fan, and enjoyed camping, fishing, watching his grandchildren play sports, hanging out with his dad and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Survivors include his father David Longoria Sr; children Valerie Longoria, Veronica Montoya and husband Daniel, David Longoria III and wife Elianna, Gabriel Longoria and wife Melanie, and Ambrosia Longoria; fiance Isela Marquez; a brother Danny Longoria and wife Evelyn; a sister Diane Cano and husband Ervey; seventeen grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
