Dave Singleton

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1st, at Faith Baptist Church for Dave Singleton of Artesia, New Mexico. PMr. Singleton, 69, died Monday, May 29, 2006 at his home. PRev. Michael Elliot and Cheto Moreno will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Reyes, Michael McKee, Ronnie Studdard, Jimmie Studdard, Bill Laman, and Rusty McKee. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Collins, Darrell Thompson, and Cheto Moreno. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. PMr. Singleton was born July 15, 1936 in Morton, Texas; the son of Dave Singleton and Goldie Dewbre Singleton. POn March 18, 1954 he was married to Gayle Webb in Whiteface, Texas. He came to Artesia in 1967 from Texas. PHe worked as an electrician and was the co-owner and field supervisor of Kyle Electric. PSurvivors include his wife Gayle Singleton of the family home; father and mother-in-law Norbin and Louise Webb of Artesia; sons Tim and wife Tommy Singleton of Van Alstyne, Texas, Skip Singleton of Artesia; daughter Krystal Carnero and husband Eddie of Artesia; sisters Alta Studdard of Morton, Texas, Pat Lewis and husband Bill of Spring, Texas; brothers Earnest Singleton of Seminole, Texas, Max Singleton and wife Sharon of Longview, Texas; sister-in-law Cheron Singleton of Diana, Texas; grandchildren Mandy Singleton of Van Alstyne, Tyler Singleton, Jacob Trejo, Keryssa Carnero, E.J. Carnero all of Artesia; great-grandson Ethan Duby of Van Alstyne.
