Danny Sedillo

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 17 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Danny Sedillo of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Sedillo, 53, died Monday, April 14, 2003 in Artesia. Father Paul Murtagh will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Augustine Salmon, Gilbert Ogas, Mike Ortiz, Chito Dominguez, Martin Grado, and Eli Balencia. Honorary pallbearers will be all close friends and grandchildren. A Rosary service and Mass are also scheduled for 6:30 P.M. Wednesday at Our Lady of Grace. Mr. Sedillo was born November 7, 1949 in Artesia; the son of Camillo Sedillo and Lorenzita Montoya Sedillo. He was a construction worker and member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother Freddie Salsberry. Survivors include his wife Anita Ortiz of the family home; daughters Brenda Sedillo of Carlsbad, N.M., Jesica Ortiz of Artesia, Misty Ortiz of Artesia, Michelle Nelson and husband Bobby of Phoenix, Ariz., and Shadow Sedillo of Artesia; a son Fermin Sedillo of Phoenix; sisters Natalia Sosa and husband Manuel of Artesia, Della Lopez and husband Frank of Artesia, Ellie Segura and husband Socorro of Artesia, and Cerinia Salmon and husband Jr. of Lovington, N.M.; brothers Eloy Salsberry and wife Ricky of Artesia and Martin Sedillo and wife Sue of Hobbs, N.M.; and 14 grandchildren.
