Daniel Stephenson

No local services are planned for Daniel W. Stephenson of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Stephenson, 78, died Monday, September 1, at his home. Cremation has take place under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Stephenson was born September 24, 1924 in Crawfordsville, Indiana; the son of Homer Stephenson and Dorothy Byrd Stephenson. He served in the United States Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. He came to Artesia in 1983 from Tucson, Arizona. Mr. Stepehnson was preceded in death by his parents; and by three brothers. Survivors include a son Daniel Stephenson of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughters Margie Miller of Lime Ridge, Wisconsin, Dianna Stephenson of Kansas City, Missouri, and Joyce Stephenson of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren Anthony, Justin, Beau, Josh, Jeremiah, Christian and Chyenne.
