Daniel Haldeman

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at First United Methodist Church for Daniel Schooling Haldeman of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Haldeman, 55, died Thursday, July 8 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Rev. David Prell of Carlsbad will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Moreau, Owen Lyles, Royce Pearson, Oscar Sanchez, Ken Aaron, and Sam Cordova.

Mr. Haldeman was born January 19, 1955 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Vernon and Virginia Haldeman.

He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

He worked as a farmer and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Daniel was a Volunteer Fireman at the Atoka Fire Department. He was a member of the Artesia Elks Lodge and he loved to hunt, and fish, listen to music, and mostly spending time with his family and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents William T. and Vernie Haldeman, and F.L. Green.

Survivors include his parents Vernon and Virginia Haldeman of the family home grandmother Elizabeth Green of Artesia sisters Sarah Gromatzky and husband Rick, and Susan Chandler and husband Baron all of Artesia brother Richard Haldeman and wife Silvia of Artesia nieces Jessica Parker, Kelsey Panzer and husband Brad, and Brooke Haldeman and nephew Brandon Haldeman.
