Dana Wagoner

Mrs. Wagoner, 59, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Cremation is under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Dana was born August 18, 1951 in Springer, New Mexico the daughter of Jerry F. Smith, Sr. and Patricia J. Anderson Smith.

On June 9, 1985 she was married to Russell Wagoner in Springer. She came to Artesia on July 4, 2004 from Aztec, New Mexico.

Dana worked as a histologist and was a member of the Hermosa Drive Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Francis Smith, Jr., and a niece Chelsey Ann Sullivan.

Survivors include her husband Russell Wagoner of the family home daughters Riannon Wagoner of Artesia Michelle Lynn Wagoner of Cimarron, N.M., and Kimberly Ann Valenzuela of Cimarron son Dale Rene Wagoner of Las Vegas, N.M. sister Katrinka Sullivan of Albuquerque, N.M. brothers Dale Smith of Albuquerque, Eric Smith of Albuquerque, and Nathan Smith of Tucumcari, N.M. 5 grandchildren and her parents Jerry and Patricia Smith of Abluquerque.
