Dale Herring

Graveside services are scheduled at 4:00 PM Monday, June 21, at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, for Dale W. Herring of Carlsbad, New Mexico. Mr. Herring, 44, died Thursday, June 17, 2004 at his home. Terrell McBee of Carlsbad will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Danny Chase, Joel Bell, Jim Maxwell, Odie Prather, Greg Harlow, and Bill Herring. Following the services, family and friends will gather at Danny and Sheila Chases home, 312 W. Castleberry Rd. in Artesia. Mr. Herring was born November 15, 1959 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Jim D. Herring and Lois A. Fambrough Herring. On August 5, 2003 he was married to Roxanne McBee in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a Pumper for Mack Energy Corp. He was of the Baptist Denomination, and a member of the Safari Club. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers and a grandmother. Survivors include his wife Roxanne Herring of the family home; parents Jim and Lois Herring of Artesia; sons Chace Allen Walls of Carlsbad, and Christopher Ray Walls of Carlsbad; daughter Chelsea Lynn Nolen of Carlsbad; brother Jimmy Lee Herring of Artesia; grandmother Kathryn Fambrough of Portales, N.M.; and several aunts and uncles.
