Curtis Lee

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 30, at Terpening Son Mortuary in Artesia, N.M. for former Artesia resident Curtis Ray Lee of Hartville, Missouri. Mr. Lee, 61, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at Hartville Care Center. Rev. Rick Sullivan will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Shane Lee, Tommy Lee, Zachary Fletcher, Colton Lee, Kyle Kimple, Tyson Fletcher, and Willie Wolfe. Mr. Lee was born October 28, 1921 in Odonnell, Texas, the son of Henry Thomas Lee and Eva Hale Lee. A retired truck driver, Mr. Lee was a resident of Artesia from 1946 to 1980 when he moved to Missouri. On July 1, 1940 he was married to Dorothy Hart in Roswell, N.M. She preceded him in death June 27, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents; by brothers Marion, Bob, Ed, and Hubert Lee; and by sisters, Ruby Evans, and Lois McCarty. Survivors include a daughter Diann Funston and husband Fred of Las Vegas, Nevada; sons Jerry Lee of Hartville and Tom Lee of Hartville; a brother H. B. Lee of Roswell; and nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
