Cresencio Olivas

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 24, at Rosa de Sharon Assembly of God in Monahans, Texas for Cresencio Olivas of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Olivas, 59, died Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Artesia. The interment will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Olivas was born April 19, 1945 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico; the son of Jesus Olivas and Paulina Anaya Olivas. He came to Artesia in 2003 from Mexico. He was a janitor at Fenns Country Market and member of the Spanish Assembly of God in Artesia. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include brothers Raymond Olivas of Artesia, and Jorge Olivas of Broomfield, Colorado; sister Consuelo Hernandez and husband Edmundo of Monahans, Texas; niece Norma Renteria of Artesia; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
