Cori Granado

Memorial services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, at Hermosa Church of Christ for Cori Ann Granado of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Granado, 54, died Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her home.

Michael Joiner will officiate at the services. Cremation is under direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Cori was born January 7, 1961 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Octavio Caraveo and Kathy (Montoya) Caraveo. She was a lifelong Artesia resident.

On March 20, 1982 she was married to Mike Granado in Artesia.

Cori had worked at Western Bank and retired. Since then she spent her time as a homemaker and loving on her grandchildren. She was a member of Hermosa Church of Christ and a former member of the Artesia Booster Club when her children were still in school.

She was preceded in death by her father and her father-in-law Salvador Granado.

Survivors include her spouse Mike Granado of the family home; mother Kathy Caraveo of Artesia; mother-in-law Arselia Granado; daughter Kristen Collins and husband Doug of Artesia; son Michael Granado of Las Cruces, N.M.; sister Linda Sterling of Artesia; brother Oscar Caraveo of Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren Kambry Collins, and Chase Collins; and her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
