Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 7, at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary for Cora Nell Mulliniks, 120 W. Crossroads Sp. 15, Roswell, New Mexico. PMrs. Mulliniks, 72, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 at her home. PCecil Kimberlin will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob Dear, Gene Dear, Robert Clement, Steven Lasiter, Danny Vaughn, and Scott Lasiter. Visitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Wednesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. PMrs. Mulliniks was born July 12, 1934 in Artesia, N.M.; the daughter of George Armstrong and Amanda McCabe Armstrong. POn Oct. 15, 1950 she was married to William L. Dear in Artesia. She was a lifelong resident of Artesia until moving to Roswell 6 years ago. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 1968. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother Bobby Ray McCabe, and sister Bonnie Vaughn. PShe was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons Bob L. Dear of Roswell, and Leonard G. Dear of Roswell; daughter Bonnie J. Lasiter and husband Christopher Scott of Roswell; sisters Daisy Drake of Artesia, Marie Stone of Artesia, Devanna Duncan of Artesia, and Georgie Kennedy of Carlsbad, N.M.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
