Colleen June Cochran

Colleen June Cochran, 90, passed away on March 3, 2025 at Convenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born on September 2, 1934 in Sherman, Texas to R.C. Davis and Blanche Rainbolt Davis.

June grew up in Sherman, Texas. She married her husband Carrol in 1950 in Artesia, NM. They were married for 63 years. She loved to draw and paint, and left behind many beautiful pieces of her artwork for her friends and family to enjoy. She spent the final eight years of her life at Ventura Place in Lubbock, Texas where she had many friends who loved her dearly. There she enjoyed playing Bingo & Bean Bag Baseball, and especially loved playing Spades with her best friend Naomi.

She is survived by her son Wayne and wife Carol of Richmond, VA, daughter-in-law Connie of Las Cruces, NM, her grandchildren, Scott Cochran of Abilene, TX, Travis and Joel Cochran of Las Cruces, NM, Ryan Texter of Midlothian, VA, Cameron Texter of Wicomico Church, VA, and Matthew Texter of Hayes, VA; her great grandchildren, Sydney Cochran of New Braunfels, TX, Bailey Cochran of San Marcos, TX, and Jude and Hadley Texter of Midlothian, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carrol, and her son Steve.
