Clinton Osburn

No local services are scheduled for Clinton Dale Osburn of Artesia.

Mr. Osburn, 56, died Friday, April 10, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas.

Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday .

Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Clinton was born September 24, 1958 in Big Spring, Texas; the son of Clinton Ray Osburn and Comilla Joyce (Trantham) Osburn. He came to Artesia in 1981 from Big Spring. In 2004 he moved back to Big Spring.

He was a derrick hand in the oil field and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Troy Osburn.

Survivors include his sons Dale Osburn of Artesia, Jason Osburn of Roswell, NM, John Duran of Artesia, Lance Osburn of Artesia, Derek Osburn of Artesia and Joval Osburn of Artesia; daughter Dalila Osburn of Artesia; sister Vanessa Austin of Big Spring; brother Vick Styers of Texas and 11 grandchildren.
