Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 18, at Twin Oaks Memorial Park for Cleo I. Tucker, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Tucker, 93, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 in Artesia. Jim Barnett will officiate at the services. Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and family. Mrs. Tucker was born May 7, 1911 in Marietta, Oklahoma; the daughter of Levi B. Cozart and Helen Pinnell Cozart. On Nov. 24, 1928 she was married to Shelley Tucker in Eastland, Texas. She came to New Mexico in 1939 from Texas,and to Artesia in 1945 from Hurley, N.M. He preceded her in death Nov. 15, 1995. She was a housewife and member of Church of Christ in Hope, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Priscilla Tucker Patterson, and Odessa Mitchell, brothers Aaron Cozart and Travis Cozart, and a grandson Charles Ray Tucker. Survivors include son Duane Tucker and wife Floy of Artesia; sister Ressie Gray of Artesia; granddaughter Nelva Tulk and husband Hoby of Artesia; great-grandchildren Amber Tucker of Ponder, Texas, Eric Tulk of Artesia, Cody Tulk of Artesia, and Delanie Darnell of Ponder. Memorial contributions Artesia Good Samaritan Center or Vista Care Hospice.
