Clarence Ornelas

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Trinity Temple Assembly for Clarence D. Ornelas of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Ornelas, 37, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 in El Paso, Texas.

Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with cremtation to follow under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Junior Losoya, Nick Briseno, David Losoya, Pat Leon, Mark Merrifield, Michael Briseno, Freddie Olguin, and Robert Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ventura Deporto, Jesus Garcia, Steven Huerta, Eugene Lopez, Chilo Huerta, Armin Florez, Jason Tavera, and Ismael Delgado.

Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Clarence was born September 22, 1975 in Artesia, New Mexico the son of Arturo Ornelas and Jane Delgado Ornelas. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.

He was a truck driver and a member of Trinity Temple, and the Artesia Moose Lodge. He was an avid motorcyclist and love TB.

Clarence was preceded in death by a grandmother Manuela Delgado and a nephew Noe Moreno.

Survivors include his sons Clarence Ornelas, Jr. and girlfriend Brenda Luna of Artesia, and Adrian Ornelas of Artesia daughter Savannah Ornelas of Artesia granddaughter Rosalina Izela Ornelas of Artesia Mother Jane Delgado Ornelas of Artesia father Arturo Ornelas of Roswell, N.M. brothers Lee Delgado of Artesia, and Lawrence Ornelas and wife Lori of Roswell sister Yvette Ornelas Almanza and husband Jim Ray of Roswell.
