Clarence Forister

On June 26, 2020, Clarence “Frosty” Forister; loving husband, father and grandfather; left this world behind to be with the Lord. He was surrounded by family and friends.

Clarence was born December 9, 1933 in Hope, New Mexico to Eli and Mary Forister along with five brothers and two sisters. He married Lillie Coor on May 16, 1955 who preceded him in death in 1984. They have three children; Steve and daughter-in-law Minerva Forister of Artesia, NM., Patti Barber of Artesia, NM and Karen Tarlton of Carrollton, TX and six grandchildren: Lillie, Shanelle, Marissa, Michelle, Jacki and Derek along with twelve great grandchildren.

Mr. Forister was a long time member of the Hope Church of Christ. He worked in the oil field for over 50 years and later became a rancher for the last 20 years.

Clarence is also survived by his wife, Jackie Forister, who he married in 1985; step-children Chuck, Van and Mark Tidwell and Lisa Liberatore.

No funeral service will be held at this time.
