Clara Wagner

Clara Ann Wagner, 90, died on April 18, 2024 in Artesia, New Mexico.

Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Clara was born on December 7, 1933 in Dows, Iowa to Clarence Hendrickson and Johanna Sorensen (Hendrickon). She was their 5th child. Clara graduted HS in Elgin, Iowa and went to college in Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa with a degree in education. She taught elemantary school in Crystal Lake Iowa. Clara and John Wagner married in 1956 in a little church in Nashua, Iowa. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbnd John Wagner, son Charlie, Daughter Ramona Wagner, Her brothers, Robert, Nelson, Donald, Paul and infant brother Harold Hendrickson and one siser Marie Nelsen. 

Clara did not have any immediate family survivors, but did have a caregiver Queena Martinez of Artesia NM and her son in law David Taylor of Texas. 

Clara was an extraordinary woman and had so many accomplishemnets throughout her life. She had an interest in so many activitives such as, painting, sewing and many arts in crafts. She taught Sunday school for some time and was an amazing piano player.

Clara will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
