Funeral services are scheduled for 9:30 AM, Friday, October 4, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Christina "Kiki" L. Martinez of Artesia

Ms. Martinez, 61, died September 27, 2019 in Lubbock, TX.

Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services. Burial will follow the services at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Leachman, Charlie Campbell, Kristopher Madrid, Ismael Gomez, Marcos Gomez, Jeremiah Ruiz. Honorary pallbearers are Carlos Martinez, Brad Panzer, Jeremy Luevano and Jadrian Bennett.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m.

Christina was born February 19, 1958 in Artesia, NM; the daughter of Juan Martinez and Eloisa (Luevano) Martinez.

She was a certified nursing assistant and a member of Our Lady of Grace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Jose Martinez, 2 brothers Manuel Luevano and Tony Luevano and a sister Nancy Losoya.

Survivors include her sons Carlos Martinez and Jeremy Luevano, both of Artesia; daughter Gracie Martinez of Artesia; brothers Johnny Luevano of Roswell, NM, Frank Benavidez and wife Gloria of Hobbs, NM, Sammy Luevano and wife Yolanda of Midland, TX, Juan Martinez of Artesia, David Martinez and wife Cristina of Artesia; sister Sokie Ruiz and husband Raymond of Hobbs; granddaughters Jolene Amor Martinez and Janiyah Mosqueda.
