Charles Kuykendall

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28 at First Baptist Church for Charles L. Kuykendall of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Kuykendall, 66, passed away on July 24, 2017 in Artesia.

Pastor Rick Sullivan will officiate at the service with burial to follow at Woodbine cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Kinnibrugh, Arvin Kinnibrugh, Don Manthei, Eddie Seeley, Jason Krogman and A.J. Krogman.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Charles was born on February 18, 1951 in Artesia; the son of Thomas and Marceline (Herod) Kuykendall. On October 25, 1973 he married Judy Miller in Artesia. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia.

He was an Operator For Navajo Refining and enjoyed hunting, spending time with his grandson and volunteering for 7024U.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Judy Kuykendall of Artesia; daughter Trudy Goldsmith and husband Jack of Farmington, NM; sisters Connie Krogman and husband Jim of Artesia and Carol Peters and husband Ray of Great Falls, MT; grandson Tommy Goldsmith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
