Charles Herridge

Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, at Terpening Son Chapel for Charles L. Herridge of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Herridge, 53, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at his home. Bobby Argo will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Emerson Herridge, Gregory Herridge, Damiem Herridge, Terry Mann, Bill Sierson, Mike Thomasson, and Tyrone Watkins. Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Mr. Herridge was born August 1, 1955 in San Angelo, Texas; the son of Earl Herridge and Jolene Harden Herridge. He came to Artesia in 2004 from Texas. He was a truck driver for Groendyke Transport. Charles was also an avid motorcyclist and loved Harley Davidsons. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Thursy Harden and several aunts and uncles. Survivors include his fianc Brenda Davis of the family home; parents Earl and Jolene Herridge of San Angelo, Texas; sons Emerson Herridge, Gregory Herridge, Damiem Herridge all of San Angelo, Texas, and Terry Mann and wife Jana of Artesia; daughters Teresa Thomasson and husband Mike of Artesia, and Sharon Sierson and husband Bill of Lovington, N.M.; sisters Dorothy Ayers and Judy Watkins both of San Angelo; brother Kermit Herridge of San Angelo; eleven grandchildren, including Harlie of the family home; and numerous nieces and nephews.
