Charles Hammond

Charles Hammond entered the gates of Heaven on November 27, 2020.
Charles Theodore Hammond was born August 6,1930 to Rita Mae Hammond and Jim Hammond in Artesia NM.  Married Nadine Mae Flournoy on Oct.5 th 1952 he is survived by one daughter Terry Gray of Jupiter, Florida and son-in-law Johnny Gray.  He was one of seven children  4 boys 3 girls.  He is survived by two brothers James O. Hammond of Artesia NM, John Hammond of Peoria, Arizona. Two grandchildren Shane Gray of Mooresville , NC and Jonathan Gray of Artesia, NM.  Six great grand children Bryce,Tanner,Taylor Gray all of Mooresville N.C.  MilleAnne, Jeighton, and Locklyn Gray all of Artesia NM.  He also had 21 nieces and nephews.  The viewing will be Friday, the 4th of December, from 1 o’clock to 4 o’clock.  Due to Covid there can only be 5 people at once in viewing.  There will be no grave side services.
