Carolina Lara

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 19, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church,, Artesia, N.M., for Carolina Marie Lara, 313 E. Hervey, Roswell, New Mexico.

Mrs. Lara, 35, died Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Father Brian Guerriniwill officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Brizeno, John Gabriel Brizeno, Joe Gonzalez, Manuel Artilata, Eddie Artilata, and Jimmy Lopez.

A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Church.

Carolina was born June 22, 1978 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Tony Lara Jr. and Socorro Alvarado Lara.

She was a caregiver and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother Patrick Lara, a sister Debbie Lara, and by her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Survivors include her mother Socorro Lara of Roswell sons Xavier Baraza of Roswell, and Elijah Lara of Roswell daughters Alia Baraza of Roswell, and Breal Nichole Lara of Roswell brothers Rodney Lara of Artesia, Phillip Lara of Roswell, and Anthony Lara III of Artesia sisters Annette Meeks of Roswell, and Candace D. Lara of Artesia.
