A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at First Presbyterian Church for Carolee Bullen of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Bullen, 89, died on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Good Life Nursing Center.
Rev. Daniel Phelps will officiate at the services. Cremation will take place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
Carolee was born on October 24, 1928 in Alamosa, Colorado; the daughter of Carrol McEnany and Francis Roberts McEnany.
On July 30, 1950 she was married to Glenn Ray Bullen in Provo, Utah. They moved to Artesia in August of 1989 from Hobbs, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1995.
She was a High School Counselor and had a Master's Degree in Psychology. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Phi Beta Kappa at Denver University, A.Q. P.E.O., Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, and loved to read, play bridge and spend time with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons James Lloyd Bullen and Thomas Glenn Bullen, and a sister Helen Anne McEnany.
Survivors include her daughter Janie White and husband Stephen of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren Jason Paul White, Jeannine Rogers and husband Ben, Kandice Duncan and husband Ross, Carrie Covin and husband Jacob, Coleen Chavez and husband Berto, and Haley Bullen; four great-grandchildren.
