Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Faith Baptist Church for Carol M. Tolle of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Tolle, 84, died Friday, December 24, 2010 at Artesia General Hospital.
Michael Elliott and Daniel Phelps will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Robert Chase, Martin Green, Roy Crouch, Randy Kinnibrugh, Richard Chase, Larry Combs, Jake Lopez, Al Gonzales, Greg White, and
Richard Price. Honorary pallbearers will be St. Anthonys Knights of Columbus, and the all Pecos Valley farmers.
Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday. A rosary will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
Mrs. Tolle was born July 24, 1926 in New London, Connecticut the daughter of Joseph Flannery and Esther Anderson Flannery.
Carol came to Artesia in 1952 from Connecticut.
She worked as a bookkeeper and an administration person throughout her career. She was employed by Union Supply, Valley Savings and Loan, and she was a Weigh Master for Artesia Alfalfa Growers Association. Carol was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church, the Altar Society, and the American Womens Business Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include daughter Robin Jackson and husband David of Artesia sons Curtis Tolle and wife Debbie of Artesia, and Corey Tolle of Artesia brother Joe Flannery and wife Rosemary of Bradenton, Florida grandchildren Stacy Tolle, Kimberly Lopez, Kale Jackson, Kenzie Jackson and Chelsea and husband Nick Van Buskirk, greatgrandchildren Ariah Lopez, Diego Lopez, and Kennedy Van Buskirk.
