Buddy Stageberg

Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at West Main Baptist Church for Buddy Stageberg of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Stageberg, 56, died Thursday, December 2, 2010 in Artesia, New Mexico.

Joseph Tillery and Gavin Vaughan will officiate at the services. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Butler, Russell Leonard, Dan Cogar, Brandon Blevins, Don Fredericks, Harmon Journey, Michael Alaniz, and the employess of Marbob.


Mr. Stageberg was born January 28, 1954 in Lubbock, Texas the son of Harris Eugene Stageberg and Betty Almon Stageberg.

He came to Artesia in 1978 from Portales, NM. On Sept. 5, 1981 he was married to Connie Blackburn in Clovis, N.M.

He was a Lease operator and attended Hermosa Drive Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bud Stageberg and Betty Waters.

Survivors include his wife Connie Stageberg of the family home Inlaws Frank and Marcella Blackburn of Clovis son Colby Stageberg and wife Kara of Clovis daughter Randa Riggs and husband Brett of Artesia a grandchild Shae Stageberg.
