Bruce Mansell

Services are scheduled at 10:00AM Saturday, October 4, at Terpening Son Chapel for Bruce Mansell, 1406 S. 21st St., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Mansell, 22, died Wednesday, October 1, 2003 south of Artesia. Don Johnston will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Mansell, Rodney Standard, James Hooten, Fred Urban, John Neel, Ben Solares, and Gary Newton. Mr. Mansell was born January 27, 1981 in Artesia; the son of James A. Mansell and Delores Pierce Mansell. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a floor hand for McVay Drilling. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, hard worker and wonderful father, son and brother. He was very polite and always willing to help those in need. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Garland Mansell, paternal grandmother Jewel Turner, and maternal grandfather Phillip Antee. Survivors include his parents James and Delores Mansell of Artesia; son Kevin Michael Mansell of High Rolls, NM; brother Justin Michael Mansell of the family home; maternal grandmother Faye Antee of Artesia; several aunts, uncles and cousins in the surrounding area.
