Brenda Guterrez

Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Brenda K. Guterrez of Artesia, New Mexico. PMrs. Guterrez, 50, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at Artesia General Hospital. PFr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services. Cremation will be under the direction of Terpening amp; Son Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Dario Partida, Jr., Sammy Jo Gutierrez, Sam Gutierrez, and Hudd Gutierrez. PVisitation will be at Terpening amp; Son Mortuary Monday beginning at 10:00 a.m. A Rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Monday at 6:30 p.m. PMrs. Guterrez was born August 19, 1958 in Artesia, New Mexico; the daughter of Joe Gutierrez and Lucilla Gomez Brito. PShe came to Artesia in 1999 from Houston, Texas. PShe was a Floor Supervisor at KMART and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. PBrenda was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Survivors include her parents Joe Gutierrez of Artesia, and Lucilla Brito of Houston, Texas; son Felipe Fuentes of Houston, Texas; brothers Clarence Gutierrez of Houston, David Gutierrez of Washington, Eddie Gutierrez of Florida, and Sammy Gutierrez of Artesia; sisters Zelda Partida of Houston, and Janice Deleon of Humble, Texas; grandchildren Michael Ray Fuentes and Danielle K. Fuentes both of Houston.
