Bonnie Harris

A memorial service for Bonnie Harris will be held July 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at First United Methodist Church, 500 W. Grand, Artesia, NM.  Monte Leavell will officiate at the service.

Bonnie was born to Elza Charles Edwards and Erma Letita Kessinger Edwards in LeRoy, Kansas.  The family moved to Roswell, NM in 1936.

Bonnie married Allen Harris on March 9, 1951 in Roswell, NM.

Bonnie is survived by her children Donna Cisco and husband Jack, Leslie Blount and husband Sam, Jerry Harris and wife Laurie;  grandchildren AJ Cisco and wife Andrea, Jodi Cisco, Colton Cisco and wife Jessica, Amanda Underwood and husband Miguel, Cody Underwood and wife Vicki, Chance Underwood and wife Lindsey, Carrie Underwood and husband Adam, Bryan Harris, Kevin Harris, Lauren Quintana, Dalton Quintana, Aeson Harris, Adam Herring, and Ryan Herring; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters Martha Novak and Carolyn Vassel and husband Bruno; sister-in-law Ernestine Harrison; brother-in-law Ken Klein along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband Allen to whom she was married 51 years; son Lane; sister Pat Klein; and two brothers who died in infancy.
