Bonnie Griffitts

Memorial services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 13, at Terpening Son Chapel for Bonnie Ruth Griffitts, 11 Cardinal Rd., Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Griffitts, 71, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Artesia General Hospital. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son. Mrs. Griffitts was born February 8, 1937 in Douglas, Wyoming; the daughter of Joseph Linneman and Pearl LaVonne ShowalterLinneman. On Nov. 3, 1955 she was married to Dan Griffitts in Douglas, Wyoming. She came to Artesia in January 1982 from Wyoming. She was a housewife and member of the Baptist denomination. She was preceded in death by parents, a brother and a grandchild. Survivors include her husband Dan Griffitts of the family home; sons Daniel Gary Griffitts of Casper, Wyoming, Bernard Wehn Griffitts of Artesia, and Keith Wayne Griffitts and wife Moe of Glenrock, Wyoming; daughters Ruth Ann Baker and husband Nick of Farmington, N.M., and Bonnie Denise Green and husband Troy of Regina, N.M.; brother Joedy Linneman of Sacramento, Calif.; sister Patricia Ann Hall of Rock Springs, Wyoming; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
