Bobbie Puckett

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Memory Gardens in Hobbs, N.M. for Bobbie Crowell Puckett of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Puckett, 75, died Sunday, January 13, 2008 at her home. Cecil Kimberlin and Leroy Ayers will officiate at the services. No public visitation is planned.

Bobbie was born November 17, 1932 in Cedar Hills, Texas; the daughter of Fred Venable and Edna Sims Venable. She came to Artesia in 1974 from Hobbs, NM.

On August 5, 1976 she was married to Gary Puckett in Carlsbad, N.M.

She was a homemaker and member of the Nazarene Church.

Mrs. Puckett was preceded in death by her father and by two brothers.

Survivors include husband Gary Puckett of the family home; her mother Edna Worden of Artesia; daughters LaVena Rains of Levelland, Texas and Elaine Evans of Lubbock, Texas; a sister Oneta Erwin of Midland, Texas; grandchildren David Rains and Anne Flores; and great-grandchildren Marcie and Sebastian.
