Billye Fox

Mrs. Fox, 90, passed away on November 29, 2016 at Artesia General Hospital.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Billye was born on August 8, 1926 in Hobart, OK; the daughter of Earl Reneau and Thelma (Lovejoy) Reneau. On March 31, 1944 she married Kenneth Ragsdale in Manitou, OK. Her second marriage was to Brice Fox on December 18, 1981 in Lake Providence, LA. He preceded her in death on August 15, 2008.

She was a School Bus Driver and Contractor for the Artesia Public Schools. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Helper's Club and was a Sunday School teacher. Billye enjoyed sewing and crocheting and loved dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Courtney Ragsdale.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Isaacs of Alba, TX; grandchildren Kenny Ragsdale of Artesia, Jerrod Sanders of Tumwater, WA, Kevin Sanders of Houma, LA and Amanda Mayberry of Portales, NM; and 10 great-grandchildren.
