No services are scheduled for Bill Bilberry, 1009 N. Nevada, Lake Arthur, New Mexico.

Mr. Bilberry, 79, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at his home.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Mr. Bilberry was born October 27, 1931 in Midland, Texas the son of Opal Bilberry.

On September 8, 1956 he was married to Ruth Carter in Charleston, Arkansas. He came to Artesia in 1960 from Hobbs, N.M. She preceded him in death Feb. 25, 2006. He was married to Pat Dolan in 2006 in Lake Arthur, N.M.
He served in the United States Army. He was a ranch foreman and member of the Baptist Denomination, enjoyed hunting and loved to dance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepson Mike Martin, a brother Bubba Allen, and a sister Ellen Borden.

Survivors include his wife Pat Bilberry of the family home sons John Bilberry and wife Edith of Artesia, and Jay Bilberry and wife Pam of Artesia brothers Sonny Allen of Hobbs, and Charles Allen of Hobbs sister Eddie Maness of Hobbs 4 grandchildren Justin Bilberry and wife Chelsea, Travis Bilberry, Chelsea Bilberry and Josh Bilberry 1 greatgrandchild Bryant Bilberry.
