Graveside services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11 at Woodbine Cemetery in Artesia, N.M. for longtime Artesia resident Bessie Adelle Haag of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rev. Irvin Stanke will officiate at the services. Mrs. Haag, 86, died Wednesday, January 8, 2003 in Albuquerque. She was born January 24, 1916 in Pecos, Texas; the daughter of Charles Otis McClure and Bessie Lee Delaney McClure. In 1938 she was married to John Frederick Haag. They came to Artesia in 1942 from the Otis, N.M. area. Her husband preceded her in death in 1946. She resided in Artesia until moving to Albuquerque in 1988. She was also preceded in death by parents; and by a brother Jack W. McClure in 2000. Mrs. Haag worked as a clerk and was member of Artesia Genealogical Society. Survivors include daughters Mary R. Beverage and husband Raymond of Albuquerque and Barbara A. Welsh of Albuquerque; a son Wilburn Haag of Albuquerque; a brother Wilburn F. McClure of Tennessee; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
