Bertha Randall-Mayo

Graveside services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 28 at the Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas for Bertha Rebecca Randall-Mayo of Artesia, New Mexico. Glen Walton will officiate at the services. Mrs. Mayo, 90, died Friday, January 24, 2003 at Artesia Good Samaritan Center. She was born May 2, 1912 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; the daughter of Lennie Perry and Ica Jones Perry. She was married to Fred Randall on January 12, 1928. He preceded her in death February 8, 1966. On July 29, 1969 she married Howard Mayo in Pampa. He preceded her in death May 20, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two sons Ray Randall and Fred Randall, Jr. She came to Artesia in 2000 from Pampa, Texas where she had been a lifelong resident. She had been a cashier for Franks Grocery in Pampa for many years and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include a son Alvin Randall and wife Frankie of Artesia; a brother Bill Perry of Hobert, Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law Peggy Randall of Amarillo, Texas; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
