Services are scheduled at 9:30 A.M. Monday, February 10 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Bernarda McDill, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. McDill, 72, died Thursday, February 6, 2003 in Roswell, New Mexico. Father Richard Lifrak will officiate at the services with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tim Reser, Timmy Reser, Robert Reser, Sam Gomez, Manuel Hernandez, Jr., and Joe Pratt. A Rosary service is also planned for 6:30 P.M. Sunday at Our Lady of Grace. Mrs. McDill was born August 20, 1930 in Artesia; the daughter of Prajedes Navarrette and Panfila Saiz Navarrette. She worked as a cashier for Furrs Grocery in Artesia and was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the San Jose Society. She was an avid bowler and helped with the Senior Olympics. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a brother Raymond Navarrette. Survivors include a son John Wesley McDill, III and wife Helena of Artesia; daughters Lita Marie Reser and husband Tim of Firestone, Colo. and Christina Kay McDill of Longmont, Colo.; brothers Jim Navarrette of Artesia, Sam Navarrette and wife Carolyn of Hobbs, N.M., Edward Navarrette of Roswell, and Robert Navarrette and wife Dolores of Albuquerque, N.M.; sisters Mary Pratt and husband Joe of Pennsylvania and Dominga Gomez and husband Sam of Roswell, Mercedes Hernandez of Roswell, and Virginia Barbier of Colorado; grandsons John Wesley McDill, IV and Mark-Matthew Wesley McDill both of Artesia and Timothy Alex Reser and Robert Joseph Reser both of Firestone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
