Benino Benito (Benny) Parra

Services are scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Thursday April 29, at Faith Baptist Church for Benny Parra, Artesia, New Mexico.

Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Madrid, Justin Levario, TJ Levario, Tim Winters, Keith Jackson and Willie Morrison.

Benny Parra, 61, died Thursday, April 22 peacefully at his home.

Benny was born October 6, 1959 in Pecos, Texas and raised in Artesia, New Mexico by parents Manuel Levario and Seferina (Casteneda) Levario.

He worked his entire life in the oilfields surrounding Artesia and made friends everywhere he went. He was a man known for his hard work and willingness to help anyone in need. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren. He loved attending sporting events for his grandchildren. Bragging about all of their accomplishments would always bring a smile to his face.

Benny Parra was a beloved Son, Father and grandfather. Survivors include his parents Manuel and Seferina Levario; son Michael Parra and wife Stephanie; son Jeff Parra and wife Sharayah; grandchildren Brenden, Bryce, Brody, Carson, Brecklyn and Delainey, who were his pride and joy; brother Toby Levario; sister Bertha Venagas and husband Manuel Venegas all from Artesia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
