Beatrice Lopez

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Beatrice Garcia Lopez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Lopez, 49, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at her home.

Fr. Valentine Jankowski OFMConv. will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jerame Lopez, Gary Lopez, Matthew Arrey, Jason Lopez, Gino Lopez, Mateo Lopez and Arturo Lopez Jr.

Visitation will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church Monday beginning at 12:00 p.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Monday at 6:30 p.m.

Mrs. Lopez was born November 6, 1960 in Artesia, New Mexico the daughter of Florencio Lopez Sr. and Seferina Garcia Lopez.

Beatrice was a lifelong Artesia resident. She worked as a cook along with many other jobs. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, and a volunteer for the San Jose Community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a son Lawrence Albert Lopez.

Survivors include her daughter Daniella R. Lopez of Roswell, N.M. son Jonathan A. Lopez of Artesia brothers Hans Goller of Germany, Florencio Lopez Jr. of Artesia, Arturo Lopez Sr. of Las Cruces, N.M., Robert Lopez of Artesia, Ricardo Lopez of Artesia, and Albert Lopez of Artesia sisters Viola L. McHaney of Artesia, and Senaida Lopez of Artesia grandchildren Fabian A. Lopez, Cheyenne D. Lopez, Damian I. Lopez, Daisy D. Hidalgo, and Lilly A. Hidalgo all of Roswell.
