Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, March 13, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Basiliso R. Rodriguez of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Rodriguez, 91, died on March 8, 2024 in Artesia.

Father Vijay will officiate at the services with burial to follow at Twin Oaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jeff Molina, Eric Molina, David Molina, Robert Sarellano, Angelo Rivera, and Anthony Trevino. Honorary pallbearers will be Reuben Rivera, Jevon Rivera, Jessica Berdoza, and Angela Trevino. A rosary is also scheduled for 6:30 pm on Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Church. Visitation will be at Terpening & Son Mortuary from 2 to 4 pm on Tuesday.

Basiliso was born on April 15, 1932 in Presidio, Texas; the son of Pablo Rodriguez and Juana Rivera Rodriguez.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed fishing, dancing and working jigsaw puzzles. He spent much of his day praying for others and their needs. He loved time with his family especiallly loving on all of his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Arcenia Rodriguez, a son Robert Trevino Jr., six brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his children Daniel Trevino, Susan Molina and Gracie Rivera; a brother Roberto Rodriquez of Hobbs, NM; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
