Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on September 15 at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Barbara Jean Eakin Winn of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Winn, 67, passed away on August 11, 2017 at her home. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.

Barbara was born in March 26, 1950 in Roswell, New Mexico; the daughter of James Clarence Eakin and Helen Marie (Stewart) Eakin. She came to Artesia in 1974 from Terrell, Texas.

She was a Registered Nurse and enjoyed cross-stitching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Angela Sandra Winn of Artesia; sister Sandra Ridge of Artesia; granddaughters Alexis Carter, Darian Juarez and Scotti Parker; great-granddaughter Demri Box.
