Barbara Riley

No local services are scheduled for Barbara Elizabeth Riley of Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Riley, 77, died Sunday, June 1, at her home.

Cremation has taken place under direction of Terpening Son Mortuary.

Barbara was born June 11, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Robert Alvers Brazeal and Lela Meadows Brazeal. She came to Artesia in May 1994 from Berryville, Virginia.

On May 21, 1954 she was married to Russell R. Riley in Mountainair, NM. He preceded her in death 12121990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

She was a clerk at the health clinic and a member of West Main Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters Patricia McHenry and husband Bill of Artesia, Rebecca Lahman of Bunter Hill, WV sisters Marie Stanton of Perkins, OK and Shirley Porch of Albquerque, NM 5 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren.
