Barbara Chacon

Memorial services are scheduled at 5:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 13, at Trinity Temple Assembly of God for Barbara J. Chacon, Artesia, New Mexico.

Mrs. Chacon, 72, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at her home.

Pastor Bobby Argo will officiate at the services. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Barbara was born December 1, 1941 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of William E. Lenover and Mary Allen Lenover. She came to Artesia in June of 1992.

On Dec. 31, 1983 she was married to Richard S. Chacon Jr. in Houston, Texas. He preceded her in death July 25, 1992.

She was a cashier and waitress and a member of Trinity Temple Assembly of God.

Survivors include her mother Mary E. Lenover of Danville, Illinois son Darrell Lenover of Danville stepdaughter Rhonda Chacon of Vista, California brothers William E. Lenover Jr. of Huntsville, Texas, and Michael Wayne Lenover of Danville 10 granchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren .
