Balbina Sanchez

Services are scheduled at 7:00 P.M. Monday, July 7 at Terpening Son Mortuary for Balbina H. Bobbie Sanchez, Artesia, New Mexico. Mrs. Sanchez, 61, died Monday, July 7, 2003 at her home. Rev. Larry Hernandez, Sr. and Pastor Jose Chavez will officiate at the services. Graveside services are also scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Lake Arthur Cemetery in Lake Arthur, N.M. Pallbearers will be Sons-in-law Danny Alvarez, Sr., Adolfo Baeza and Lonnie Nelson and grandsons Miguel D. Gonzales, Jr., Joshua S. Gonzales and David Lee Mojica, Jr. Mrs. Sanchez was born November 17, 1941 in Presidio, Texas; the daughter of Felix Hernandez, Sr. and Francisca Valdez Hernandez. On October 14, 1961 she was married to Santos N. Sanchez in Artesia. She was a housewife and member of the Assembly of God. Mrs. Sanchez was preceded in death by her parents; and by sisters Esther Carrera and Felipa Carrera. Survivors include her husband Santos N. Sanchez, Sr. of the family home; a son Santos Sanchez, Jr. of Hobbs, N.M.; daughters Sallie Nelson of Amarillo, Texas, Selma Alvarez of Las Cruces, N.M. and Stephanie Baeza of Hobbs; brothers Larry Hernandez, Sr. of Hobbs and Felix Hernandez, Jr. of El Paso, Texas, and Tito Chavarria of Hobbs; sister Cuca Jacobo of Hobbs; and grandchildren David Lee Mojica, Jr., Robert Huerta, Jacque Huerta, Adrianna Sanchez, Aaron Sanchez, Miguel Gonzales, Jr., Joshua Gonzales, Alyssa Alvarez, Danny Alvarez, and Fabian Baeza.
