Armando Valenzuela, Jr.

Services are scheduled at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 17, at Terpening Son Chapel for Armando Madrid Valenzuela, Jr., 5001 W. Richardson Ave., Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Valenzuela, 36, died Sunday, November 13, 2005 at his home. Arturo Armendariz will officiate at the services with burial at Woodbine Cemetery. Pallbearers will be uncles Hector Valenzuela, Alfonso Valenzuela, Santos Valenzuela, Sam Madrid, Jesus J. Valenzuela and Leonel Valenzuela. A prayer service is also scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Terpening Son Chapel. Mr. Valenzuela was born June 24, 1969 in Artesia, New Mexico; the son of Armando Valenzuela, Sr. and Sulema Madrid Valenzuela. He was a lifelong resident of Artesia. He was a Driller for LM Drilling. Survivors include his parents Armando and Sulema Valenzuela of Artesia; sons Tito Valenzuela of Artesia, and Armando Valenzuela, III of Artesia; daughter Melinda Valenzuela of Artesia; sisters Imelda Landeros of Andrews, Texas, Olivia Iglesias of Artesia, and Esperanza Carrasco of Artesia; grandfather Manuel Valenzuela of Mulato, Ojinaga, Mexico; 6 nieces and 2 nephews.
