Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Woodbine Cemetery for Armand Masters of Artesia, New Mexico. Mr. Masters, 52, died Saturday, June 6, 2009 in the home in Springhill, Louisiana. Rev. J. B. Craft will be officiating at the service. Honorary pallbearers will be Jarmand Masters, John Erwin, Gene Alley, Lee Baker, and Jim Moreland. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Terpening Son Mortuary. Mr. Masters was born January 15, 1957 in Artesia, New Mexico to Buster and Sylvia Laura Warren Masters. Armand for many years was a driller and tool pusher and later became an electrician for Erwin Electric. He was an avid baseball fan of the San Francisco Giants and Houston Astros and did not miss a game for 9 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jim Masters; and nephew Robert John Hay. Survivors are his daughters Kelli Harris and husband Adam of Springhill, Louisiana, Kim Masters of Carthage, Texas, and Kristen Masters of Center, Texas; twin brothers Jarmand Masters of Loco Hills, New Mexico, John Erwin and wife Laura of Los Altos, California; sisters Sylvia Valdez of Portales, New Mexico, and JoAnn Masters of San Jose, California; grandchildren Lauren Harris, Mallory Whiteside, Tatum Harris, and Victoria Masters.
