Services are scheduled for 10 am Wednesday, June 21, at Our Lady of Grace Cathoic Church for Antonio Salinas Jr. of Artesia, New Mexico. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. and a rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Mr. Salinas, 45, died on June 10, 2023 in Lubbock, Texas.
Fr. Vijay will officiate at the services. Pallbearers will be Michael Salinas, Alex Salinas, Jesus Salinas, Gabriel Salinas, Brandon Olguin, and Estevan Anzaldua. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Campbell, Melton Campbell, Charles Campbell, and Felix Perez, Sr.
Antonio was born on February 21, 1978 in Artesia; the son of Antonio Salinas Sr., and Juliana Campbell.
He was a hard worker and enjoying creating arts and crafts, designing clothes, sewing, drawing, and making jewelry such as bracelets, necklaces and rings. He could take something simple and plain and make it into something stylish and beautiful. He was fun loving, very social, had a heart of gold and a smile that could light up the room.
He was preceded in death by his mother, and a son Carlos Salinas.
Survivors include his father Antonio Salinas Sr.; a son Michael Rey Salinas; brothers Alex Salinas and Jesus Salinas; sisters Veronica Lopez and Yolanda Salinas; grandchildren Juliana Salinas, Alayah Salinas and Carlos Alfonso Salinas.
