Services are scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Monday, October 25, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for Antonia A. Ybarra of Artesia, New Mexico.
Mrs. Ybarra, 85, died Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Artesia General Hospital.
Fr. Brian Guerrini, SS.CC. will officiate at the services with burial at Loving Cemetery in Loving New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Daniel Ybarra, David Ybarra, Dennis Ybarra, Ricky Ybarra, Chris Anaya, and Chris Salmon.
Visitation will be at Terpening Son Mortuary Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will be at Our Lady of Grace Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
Mrs. Ybarra was born June 13, 1925 in Loving the daughter of Benito Anaya and Josephina Monje Anaya.
On June 17, 1944 she was married to Enemenzio Alaniz Ybarra in Loving. She came to Artesia in 1958 from Roswell, N.M. He preceded her in death November 15, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents son Donald Ybarra sisters Evangelina Yturralde, Mary Anaya, and Refugia Villalova and brother Benito Anaya.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughters Delma Garcia and husband Juan of Roswell, Delia Mendez and husband Manuel of Hobbs, N.M., Dora Ybarra of Artesia, Della Ybarra of Blackwell, Texas, Janie Salmon and husband Richard of Artesia, and Diane Sanchez of Artesia sons Enemenzio Ybarra, Jr. of Artesia, David Ybarra and wife Luci of Artesia, Chris Anaya of Carlsbad, N.M., Ricarte Ybarra of Artesia, and Dennis Ybarra of Carlsbad brothers Pete Anaya of Carlsbad, and Ray Anaya of Carlsbad sisters Amanda Navarrette of Carlsbad, and Luci Hernandez of Riverside, California 43 Grandchildren including one she raised Chris Salmon of Artesia 82 Greatgrandchildren and 17 Greatgreatgrandchildren.
